Super excited to be a first time owner!
Hey guys. I have been researching and reading up on the forum for quite some time. Just purchased a 2014 IS 350 AWD F-Sport in White with all black interior. It has every option available. I have had VW's and other Japanese vehicles my entire life. This car is far superior in every way. I am so happy to be on here and look forward to more in depth research on things!
Today I have the day off so I am going to do a 2 bucket wash, clay, glaze, seal, and top with carnuba! The car is super clean but I like to know what is done to the paint so I am going to start from scratch. I'll post up some pictures when I get it done. Until then, thanks for a great forum! I look forward to being active and contributing where I can!
Peace

I suggest washing with this in California.

not to thread jack, but i'll check it out. question about the product though. do you have to pre rinse the car before use if there's dead bugs or bird *****? or what if there's loose dirt...I'm afraid that that there'll be scratches.

But what I usually do is fill a spray bottle with water and just spray it over the panel you're going to wash to make the dirt dissolve a little. Or you get Bug and Tar remover before start washing with no rinse bottle.

^^ Drought?? What is that? We have so much rain, snow and everything in between that I can't even take my car out as the roads are always wet/dirty.!

^^ That is incredible that we live in the same continent and while some are begging for rain, others just pray for a relief from it!
