Default RPF1s Help

I was wondering if anyone was rocking some RPF1s on their 3IS? I'm also trying to find out if I should go with the 18x9.5 +15 or the 18x9.5 +38? Would the +15 poke out too much? I'm dropped on RSR SUPERDOWNS right now. Any pictures of them (or wheels with the same specs) on the car would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

depends on if you have a 250 or 350. the 350 has bigger brakes. youll have to make sure you can clear the brake,

9.5 +38 would be your best bet. im gonna agree with the other poster, +15 will be way to aggresive.

Yeah I figured that too. They have the +15 in stock but I guess I'm gonna have to order the +38. Have you guys ever seen rpf1s on a 3is? I've look on the web but haven't had any luck finding one

Any specific reason why you are looking at those wheels? If that's a track setup, I wouldn't hesitate to run those. Aesthetically, I don't think they would suit the car very well.

No specific reason. Just like Dmance stated. Those wheels look good on any car. I just want to get new wheels and have always been a fan of rpf1s. I was also looking at the rs05rr. I guess I'm looking for more of an aggressive look for my IS. Any other ideas?

Let me guess, you used to have a Subaru?!

I've seen people run those on the 2IS. I'd opt for the 19" as the spokes are are a bit flatter.

Haha nah I have never owned a Subaru.the flat spokes depend on the offset and size of wheels you get. The 18x9.5 +38 does have flat spokes

Yes and yes. I assumed you would do a staggered set-up. In that case, 18x8.5 et35 spokes will not be as flat as 19x8.5 et35. On the other hand, 9.5" et38 would be flat regardless of wheel size.

Now assuming you go with 18x9.5 et38 all around, i would be very concerned with the brake clearance on the front. I test fitted 9.5" et40 on the front and they did not clear by about 10-12 mm. Let's just say 15mm to be sure!

I'm running them on my 2is. 19x8.5 front 19x9.5 rear. I forget the offsets but I think they're +38. Rears are nice concave and fronts are convex. Love them. Car is on factory sport suspension. I just mounted the wheels today and I'll be lowering it on Tuesday.

If you like the RS05RR, you may like the OZ Supertourismo LM in 19"

Aslo, I am a big fan of these in 18" http://www.wedswheelsna.com/weds/wedssport/tc105n/

I have a set of 18x9 or 9.5 22 offset RPF1's with 265 tires in my basement, I've also test fit 18x9 22 offset BBS LM's with 245 tires which was perfect for the front (or can be slightly more aggressive) but poking out a little much in the rear imo (wasn't rubbing). That's why I want to try out the RPF1's once the snow is actually all gone cuz they are in track tires (oh yes I do also have a subbie) but I'm sure I'll run into some problems. I can show you guys how it looks when they're on if anyone's still interested.
