I received a new Lexus Enform update today.

Anyone have a changelog?

Slacker has a different icon, and now slacker has some of the same problems Iheart radio has been giving me. "The system is busy" and other fun errors that I spend clicking on navigation mouse as I drive through the traffic instead of being able to just listen to the choice.

Is this something that you received at the dealer or an OTA update?

Enform just updated last night and the same issues are still there with rebooting several times at start-up. Also Pandora app takes a little longer now to change tracks when skipping.

Never really used Enform as i don't have a need for it.
My question to you all that do use it, why not just use pandora on your phone and play it via bluetooth? Thats what I do with spotify. You can still change tracks via the steering wheel. What are the Pro's for using pandora via enform?

I usually have my phone in pocket, so pro's are, I don't need to take phone out if using enform, but lots of issues. I heart radio is cool to listen to radio stations from other areas..

I never actually tried spotify, even though it's bt driven, can you start/stop it from the car without touching the phone? That's why, even with 100 cons, the enform interface is better

There is no longer an annual charge for the basic Enform app suite. Safety Connect, Remone and Destinations are available for a fee

Don't you still have to turn Bluetooth on and fire up the enform app?
It would be the same process with spotify unless you were previously playing. Then it would pick up where you left off.

The enform app starts up automagically (most of the time) when the bluetooth connection is established.

So no, (most of the time) you don't need to touch your phone to use pandora/iheartradio/slacker through enform.

But you do need to open the Enform app on your phone, correct?

I just leave the Enform app "running" on my iPhone all the time. Get in the car and it all connects up (most of the time).

On my Android Galaxy S5 the app opens on its own when the phone links with the nav.

I use Pandora through Enform every day. By using it through the app, I don't have to touch my phone and I can change the station through the nav display or the instrument cluster TFT and steering wheel controls.
