Nah would have to be a minimum 800 hp to make the trade worth it.

I think the 350 should have 330-350hp, the entire Lexus line seems underpowered matter of fact.

I wish my IS250 had more power! Regular driving is fine but when I want it to go fast, it doesn't! I hope they make a better version! I might get the IS350 next!

If subsequent generations of Lexus IS come with a high power forced induction engines (e.g. 3.0 turbo/supercharged) with around 350 hp then I will switch back to Lexus. I am sure Toyota can come up with something like this, which will be smooth, powerful and reliable.

I heard some gossips that Infinity Q60, coupe, will be equipped with Mercedes 3.0 turbo, which currently can be found on C400. It is a sweet motor by the way.

Anyone know if the IS200t will get the 8-speed transmission or the same 6-speed as the NX?

Why won't they put a turbo in 350s? Is the cost a factor?

If only Lexus offered a IS250 with more power (ideally 100 more) and with bigger brakes... but everything else stays the same.

My biggest guess would be reliability. Lexus is legendary in that regard and turbos could potentially throw a wrench in the reliability and longevity of the engine.
