Default Front parking sensor or camera?

I absolutely love the new IS grill. However, it sits so low that I am afraid of hiting curbs when i park. The wife is actually scared to drive it for that reason. Anyone know of a simple fix for this? Like a sensor or camera?

I have a IS350 F-Sport and the front bumper sits fairly low as well (in addition to being lowered on RSR Down Springs). I've seen previous threads where people would buy a small camera off eBay/Amazon and and hooking it right below the bumper but i plan on hiding it behind the big F-Sport grill so i can see the front curb as i'm approaching it on my navigation screen.

I see that you're in Oregon, what part? Maybe i can show you once I buy and have it installed.

It is low but typically high enough to not hit any parking curbs or standard sidewalk curbs. The only part that will touch if you go over the parking curb is the plastic flaps under the front bumper (but you can't see those so the scraping shouldn't matter).

Maybe it's different in CA but here in Washington and Oregon (especially Portland, OR), depending on where you are, the curbs can get pretty high :/ Before i lowered the car, I can could tell that my front bumper will not clear the front curb and had to be very careful to not park so close.

There are times where i noticed i parked too far and had to go back into the car and and move forward a little bit more...lol

I have a front camera for this purpose to prevent curb rash. There's another third party sensor called curb alert.

Same here, I have hit a couple of times just pulling in a parking garage and I am not lowered.

Ive been hesitant to spend money on an expensive front lip for this reason. I parked close to a parking curb and scraped up my all fit lip. I didnt mind to much its under 50 bucks but if i had one of the other lips that run over 500 bucks i would flip out. A front bumper camera would be awesome.

Someone wrote a DIY for the install you can do a search. Camera is connected to existing A/V port in arm rest. You do need to install video in motion override.
I bought the camera from Beatsonic link is below.

There are definitely some high curbs in my area. I've been lucky so far to not hit them yet, but there were close calls... Back into the space when possible and save the money on the camera.

Me too, but I cannot back up a parking garage ramp for three or four floors.
