Gas Stain? On Ultra White

Gas Stain? On Ultra White
First off, I apologize, I originally posted this over in the Details & Maintenance forum (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/aut...-stains-2.html), but only got suggestions on what to do to PREVENT the stain and not to REMOVE it.
Here is my post:
So I went to fuel up my UW IS a couple days ago and noticed a similar brown/yellow-ish stain below the fuel tank (see image below). I'm usually very careful whenever I pump fuel, so I'm really surprised to see the stain.
Once I got home, I tried cleaning it off with Meguiar's UQD and a microfiber cloth - rubbed furiously, but to no avail. The damn stain wouldn't come off.
Unfortunately, I just had to leave on a business trip and won't be back for another 2 weeks. So my car is just sitting the garage with the stain soaking in.
Once I get back, what is the best thing I should do to try and get rid of this (most likely fuel stain) besides buffing it out (I don't have a buffer and I want to try removing the stain myself before taking it to the pros).
Thanks for any help and tips!

That sucks, I'm very paranoid when I pump gas too, even though my car is Nebula Grey.
When I'm done pumping gas I lift the pump and tap it 3-5 times to let loose all the excess.
In the event it does drip on my car, I have already enforced a preventative which is wax my car the week or day before I pump gas. The backup plan, is use the Meguires Quick Detail with a microfiber in my drunk. Clean it off immediately upon contact.
I'll have my car for 2 years, come late July and it still looks, even smells brand new.
Amazing how much OCD can take care of you.

I use a degreaser when washing of these kinds of stains.
There are sveral degreaseres made for handling petrolium stains, such as oil, gas, tar, asphalt and so on.
Since I'm not very familiar with US products, I suggest using one of the online detailer shops for seachring after this kind of degreaser.
After letting a degreaser wor for about 5 minutes, the stains come of when washing normally with soap water and a wash mit.

Thanks for all the replies!
I've been thinking about my car everyday since my business trip and still won't be back to do anything about it for another week.
Once I do get back, I'll try the least abrasive/harsh suggestions first:
1) rubbing alcohol + MF cloth
2) road tar remover
3) clay bar
4) compound
I'll report the results once I get back.
