Default DRL and fogs on

Hey guys I'm a new member here, last week I got my 2015 IS250. I was wondering if we can drive with the running lights and the fog lights on at the same time. I try on the parking position and the fogs wouldn't turn on, and on auto it's only for the DRL. If anyone knows how to make this set up work let me know, thanks in advance. Oh yeah, I saw someone driving like that on some other threat but I couldn't find the conversation so here I am... Lol thanks.

Welcome to CL man! I was the one who had asked the same question. After a lot of research, I learned the only way to do it was to run an extra switch to your fogs. I did it and it works perfectly. I just ran the wiring through the ignition too so it turns off when the car turns off no matter what. It's a pretty easy job if you have a bit of knowledge about wiring. Good luck! PM me if you have any questions.

Thanks hovik92, I was gonna ask the dealer if they could program that set up since I was reading that they can modify a couple of things that we can't. If they say no I was thinking on running a wire to bridge the power source from the DRL and make it stay on every time the DRL. If u have any pics from your set up post them pls to get an idea.

I also wanted to bridge the power but there was an issue with that plan. Our DRL's run stronger when our headlights aren't on. When we turn on our headlights, our DRL's dim. Since my fog lights are HID's, they wouldn't work when the DRL's power was cut. Also, unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the install. Good Luck!
