Default Any recommendations for a muffler shop in Edmonton Alberta?

hey guys,

anybody here from Edmonton Alberta?

i had my ARK performance cat-back exhaust put in and i have been recently experiencing clicking sounds, i'd assume its from the pipe hitting the under brace when going over bumps.

is that a common problem with aftermarket exhaust? is this an easy fix for the muffler shop?

can you guys recommend a good muffler shop in Edmonton i can go to because i really don't want to go to the shop i got it installed at.

Thanks
Simon

What exactly is going on? Can you take a video of sound.. That's doesn't sound right. Is it just when you go over bumps? Or all the time?

It makes the sound only when going over bump (in Edmonton we have lots of those especially in the winter). The sound comes from the middle of the car seems like right under the centre counsel. seems like it needs some sort of pad to stop the pipe from bouncing.

when they installed my exhaust system they had to add an intermediate pipe and i'd assume its that intermediate pipe that hitting the under brace.

So you have the Catback ARK, did you have to get it modded to fit your AWD is it the RWD version?

yes its an ARK cat-back. it was the RWD version and they had to mod by adding that intermediate pipe to fit it on the AWD.

my guess is the pipe is hitting the AWD tranny frame especially by where you are saying the noise is coming from. They may be able to adjust the hangers to move it away if they modded it correctly. If not you will probably have to get that section redone...
sorry man
