Default Better deals on 2014 vs 2015

Looking to get an IS350 f-sport AWD, and I noticed that there are a lot of 2014s still left on dealers lots, how much better will the discount be on these 2014s vs the 2015s? I'm seeing anywhere from 6-12% off the 2015s so surely the 2014s will be a better deal? If not, why the hell would anyone buy a 2014?

If you are purchasing, better off left over 2014s but if leasing, better deal expected with 2015s with better residual and Money factor

Idk exactly how much discount you can get on 2014 vs 2015, gotta think about the discount differences as well as depreciation of these two year model cars

For example if you are getting $2000 more discount in 2014 than 2015 but a year later if resale value is $2000 lower or more than 2015 than you are disadvantaged due to more standard options on 2015 that are missing plus newer year is preferred by buyers if same price and all other circumstances If you are keeping a car for longtime then you are definitely better off purchasing 2014s with more discount

Which options are standard on the 2015 that weren't on the 2014?

Also I don't think the backup camera lines are dynamic on the 2014s. Very nice feature to have especially with the invisible front end making backup parking a must.

The grid lines are nice, but not a total deal breaker. However, the ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and RES+ remote start access would convince me to get a 2015.

yep, the CAD models had the heated steering wheel but the US model didn't. I actually was thinking about buying a CAD model with the Executive package to have it but I need to replace my car rather quickly,

I leased my 2015 and the deal was better than 2014. It was also last December when Lexus offered pretty good discounts.

Hardly a must. Just don't go in too deep.

Heated steering wheel is the only thing that I wish was available in 2014, and wasn't.
