If the F-Sport were a must have I would go for the GS. You have to give up all the good options in the IS to get the F Sport... (memory seats, ventilated seats, fog lights, other stuff) The GS lets you mix the luxury options with the F Sport package. I wish that were an option on the IS.

I was offered with a great deal on the GS, while I was waiting for my IS. I didn't go with the GS simply because I want a car that I can have a little more fun with. GS is too big for that purpose. It will be my consideration in the future for sure.

I confuse the GS with a number of other cars on the road. It's a dated design. I am thrilled to look at my IS every morning. It doesn't have everything the GS offers -- it just fits "out of the box" -- no tailoring needed. For me at least. Once one has done all that can be done with 16 way, infinitely adjustable seats -- they still won't be as comfortable as the IS seats. I bought cars based on tech, supposedly higher quality materials. seats that do everything but rock -- and found once I got over it all -- the ride/handling and pleasure of looking at the car was what it came down to. The IS nails it. Sorry. It just does.

I like the GS but I felt like it was too big for my "age". Meaning someone single with no kids, etc. To me, it seems more like a family car than a sport sedan.

This, exactly. Couldn't have said it better.
