Default Problem with 2007 GS350 headlight

So i bought this car about 4 months ago and right in the beggening the cars headlights had problems, the headlights would both turn off after about 30 seconds of being on. I changed both of the lightbulbs and it fixed one of the headlight then i changed the headlight module in the drivers side headlight and the headlights worked fine after that. About 2 week ago, my passengers side splash guard fell off and broke so i had to order a new one. i drove in the rain without the splash guard for about a week and it was fine until the headlight on that side stopped working. i replaced the bulb and there is still no light or noise coming from the headlight or module like you would expect. Now i am not sure whether it is some wiring that is messed up or whether i have to change the module on that side also. Modules cost quite a bit of money so i am asking you guys to give your opinion on what you think is wrong before i go and replace the wrong parts. THANK YOU
