Default Just got Enkei Black wheels for my IS350

It's not the best pix, but just got Enkei Tuning Raijin wheels on my IS350 today. Car is atomic silver color. These are 18 inchers, but they look like 19er's. No modifications or adjustments needed. They ride great. I got them from TireRack.

looks good! you must have lost a good 8lbs/wheel with those wheels. How is the ride/handling/acceleration now?

(1lbs loss/gained of rotational weight = approx. the similar effect of loss/gain 8lbs curb weight)

Looks great! What tire sizes are you running? It looks like there is more sidewall than the stock tires.

My tires are Bridgestone Turanza's. Wheels are 18 inch. Front tire is 225/40/R18; Rear tire is 255/35/R18. No modifications or changes were needed to convert to the Enkei Tuning Raijin wheels.

Handling is much better than the 18 inch Lexus wheels I had on it. They're bout 8 lbs less each wheel and I notice the difference.

Not trying to hate because I also had 18" rims on my 2IS, but those don't look like 19" rims to me. Wheels look good but too much sidewall on the tires makes it look kind of weird. If you plan to keep them for a while maybe consider going with a smaller sidewall or a slight stretch to get rid of the sidewall.

the sidewall spec is the same as the F-Sport wheels/tires, so if you don't like his sidewall, you must really hate your F-Sport. I don't see the value in you encouraging him to get a lower sidewall because that will just increase his chance of getting a tear in the lower profile sidewall or if he goes over a bump or pothole hard, it can damage his rims. if you're on 19's you have a lower sidewall because you have no choice.

for reference:

It doesn't need a "drop", nor is there "too much sidewall". Sheesh.

to each their own but since I already had 18" rims before I'm never making that same mistake again. 19" is honestly the best bet but to pull off a 18" rim you will need to be somewhat low and get some stretch in those tires, otherwise the tires look too beefy.

It most definitely needs a drop and there is to much sidewall. Sheesh
