LED headlight variations?
Neighbor purchased an is 350, f sport, same model, same led headlights, noticed his headlights are more blue/purple, and mine are more white/warmer. Do these headlights come in different variations since they are led? Or could I have a power source lighting issue?
Hard to tell by photos but light output is pure white no blue/purple hue. How is everyone else's?

I have the LED variant as well and notice a purple / Blue ish color cast especially at the top edge of the light path. will try to take a photo of it. 3IS is my first car with LED light so not sure if its the nature of its design or not. Correct me if I'm wrong but I also notice that the Xenon headlights have more density in their light..
I Know that LED lamps are much more durable since they have no filament in them but I think they still cant catch up with the Xenon in terms of Candlepower.

The color variation you see (the purple/blue) is because you are looking at the top of the projector cutoff. This is normal, and your HID cars had them too, you just didn't notice.
And I stated this before on this forum, HIDS at 4300k (OEM spec) will be denser (unless you swapped your bulbs), because LEDs give off light closer to 6000k.
Swap your HIDS to 6000k and see.

Yeah there's a slight purple/blue on the top cutoff, but overall light output is pretty washed out I guess is what I'm trying to say, not that bright/blue colored compared to another is 350 with the same led headlamps so bit sure if all led bulbs are going to be the same from car to car
