price paid for clear bra film

I paid $1300 for XPel Ultimate Full Coverage in Sacramento, CA. In the SF Area, I was quoted between $1300-1500 just for partial. For full, it was $2200+. I wanted the full coverage: Full Hood, Full Fenders, Full Bumper, Mirrors and Headlights.
I live in the SF Bay Area but the high prices made me take a trip to Sacramento (I have family there so killed 2 birds with one stone).
To be honest, it was a kit (except for one, 2 other Bay Area shops quoted me kits as well), and there are a few edges that aren't perfect. I'm not upset yet - I'll be taking it back to get it replaced under the warranty whenever I can make it to Sacramento again.

Hey Guys, i am in the market for a clear Bra for my Obsidian IS350 F-Sport and was wondering if anyone with the same color had one installed. I was having my tint shop install my new ceramic tints and mentioned to them about installing a 3M clear bra. They told me that the lines off of the clear bra would show on a black car. Just want to make sure if this is true or if done right it will not show.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Also, if you have a white car, the line will stand out once the car gets a little dirty...the edges will collect dirt. This is why I ended up going with the full hood/fenders for my UW. I had a previous white car (FX35) that had partial, and it really bothered me. If you have a silver/gray car, the partial coverage line will be less noticeable. Or if you have white, just make sure you wash it often.

I have some minor stone chips in the front bumper and a couple very small ones on the hood. Being I live in Wisconsin and with the hard winters I really want to go Xpel. The problem is I am not sure if I should get the front bumper fully repainted and then Xpel or not. What do you guys think? The car is a 2014 with 18,000 miles on it. Just got it and plan on keeping it long term. Will the Xpel adhere good over the slight imperfection and small stone chips?

Well said! In my case, I had some minor (not noticeable enough) rock chips on my front bumper at time of installation, so my installer said there was no need to touch them up. Otherwise, you're ruining a brand new car that does not really require touch up point being 3 months old. But in your case, a reputable installer will prep your car prior to installation. Then, he'll tell you if it needs touch-up or full repainting. Either way, PPF is a must for any car nowadays to preserve its value and its paint condition!

3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Film Pro Series for my girls car I went with partial hood, partial fenders, full bumper, headlight, swoosh DRLS, and the side view mirrors for $580. It's 7year warranty. Here's the company I went with Areotect.net. Few years ago I had my 2ndGen IS350 done here. They don't do install anymore they are film distribution now but they do refer you to a installer.

just got quoted for 1200 dollars for full wrap front hood bumper fenders and mirrors.
its with a brand called suntek with 5 year warranty. its actually the brand i used for my tint so i decided to try it out. this is in southwest florida. xpel was 1800 dollars for full wraps.
guy sounded pretty professional. has 15+ years working with clear bras.

Here is my 350 f-sport protected by Xpel. Just got it done the other day for $750. 24" hood, quarter panel lines done in line with hood, mirrors, door pockets, full front bumper and headlights.
From some angles, lighting and distance, it is difficult to see the lines. I'm very happy with this investment so far.
