Default Annoying Moonroof

I have left my moonroof open at least 10 times in 2 months! When you turn the car off and open the doors there to get out, the car doesn't give any warning sound to remind you that the moonroof is open! just a little msg on the cluster which I never look at n e way. even worse when I lock the car the roof wouldn't automatically close. My friend has F-20 328i and his moonroof closes automatically when he locks his doors. is there any setting in the car to fix this issue? are all Lexus like this?n

They might be able to program the moonroof, but I doubt they can program the windows. The windows won't close automatically as a safety feature, incase there are kids or animals in the car and have their limbs sticking out of the window while their being closed.

While we're on the topic, you can change your Lexus Personalized Settings (LPS) by yourself with our app, Carista. As far as I know, there's no setting to enable/disable beeping if you leave the sunroof open, but that may be a new one that we don't yet know about. If your dealer can set it, we should be able to implement it as well, so please let me know what your dealer says. But yeah, I don't see that setting the official list of LPS for the IS, as linked above.

There isnt a required maintenance at 1K miles but there is more of a "policy" by Lexus USA that has dealers suggesting that every customer come back at 1K miles for any questions they may have about the car, to change any of the personal settings, or to inspect for any new car issues. It's more of a customer service visit/inspection than a maintenance visit.
