Default Cross-Shopping other brands from an IS350 F-Sport?

Did you consider a BMW 335i M-Sport, MB C400 or Audi A4 S-Line? I'm trying to decide on my next car soon - I am surprised the F-Sport has no memory seat option

I love the new c class. I would have definitely looked at it if it was out when I bought mine. However, coming from the old c class, I was wary of their reliability. I love the 335 m sport as well, but was turned off by the reliability on BMW as well. Not a fan of the audi. Also looked at the q50, but didn't do anything for me. The new TLX is also very nice

originally the Q50S was at the top, but it instantly fell off my radar when I had one as a rental car on business for a few days, it's a cheap Altima with low quality plastics.

If I was in a market now, and of course i would only consider leasing, I would get a fully loaded 335i with M-Sport package. Great lease deals are available now for 2014 model year 335is now with 12.5% off MSRP (i got this offer but not willing to take a big hit on trade in). Good thing about BMW lease is that you would not worry about repairs and maintenance. All of it is covered during the lease.

I have never been interested in BMW or Mercedes, but I did briefly consider a Q50S and a Volvo S60. I looked at a TLX too, but I just can't get into the look of the beak on the front of the new Acuras and the obnoxious headlights. Bottom line is that I love the looks of the IS350 f-sport and you can't go wrong with Lexus reliabliity, so it wasn't a hard decision for me.

I was trying to find it, but couldn't - does the F-Sport have a heated steering wheel? I assume no, like no memory seats?

No German stuff for me because of reliability issues. The Rioja Red interior sold me on the IS. I love it! Couple that with not having to be towed to the dealer often and not paying a monthly to drive a loaner while your car is in the shop and that combo is why I went with Lexus.

I did like the 335i, but mostly because you could get it with a manual. However, reliability concerns and the local BMW dealer's attitude made me pass on it. The real choice for me came down to the IS350 and the GS350. Lost a lot of sleep over that decision... In the end I chose the IS because I liked the more aggressive styling, the sportier driving position, and overall just the younger vibe it seemed to offer, so I can deny my true age for a few more years...

I too looked into the 335i. The biggest drawback for me w/ BMW is their interiors. I feel like they are cheap and haven't changed much since the 90's. Lexus interiors (to me) cannot be beat. I also liked the ride quality over the 335i.

I'll pay Lexus $3000 more if they can add bigger Nav, folding mirror, and memory seat.

Only the 2015 has a heated wheel, not the 2014. It was one of the main reasons I waited a couple months for the 2015 models to come out.

I shopped a 335 X-Drive, S4, S60 R-Design

Looking back, I put too much weight into the dealer/reputation and should have just picked the most complete car (or even went non-F-Sport).
