is250 fog light bulb 3rd gen
Hi,
I have a bulb out...didn't find a table in the owners manual...anyone know the bulb I need, how to replace...I plan on looking at it tonight...
Worse case ill hand carry into autoparts store for replacement.
I doubt this is warranty so I was gonna swap it myself?
Thanks,
-J

If your IS is a 2014, you can find bulb replacement info on page 432 of your manual.

It is not difficult to replace and the instruction is in the manual --- there is a section with pictures. You have to put your hand inside the area to feel where the bulb is.
I forgot how many push screws need to be removed but if you have a big hand, I strongly suggest taking one more push screw which helps to prevent the underneath plastic moulding from being damaged. You will know which one when you work on it.
I have changed mine to LED fogs -- no more burned bulb and they are much brighter.

^ hey thanks,
yes to make it easy i jacked one side of the car up to give me room.
pulling back on the fender liner like it says on step 1 of page 434 does not exactly give you the room you need. i see what you mean about pulling a few more fasteners. I removed one more screw and one plastic push pin.
That definitely made it much easier.....
I wish i had time to get some leds - i just needed to change it quick, dont like it being out, was 14.99, so thats fine. I'll definately get LEDS and swap them later. would love to hvae them brighter.
what leds did you get? what do you recommend.
i attached a pic of the extra fasteners i removed circled:
Red = extra phillips screw/10mm
Blue=extra plastic push pin style
green = two phillips screw/10mm noted originally on page 434 step 1.
Thanks,
