Default IS F Sport tire tread life

Anyone know the tire life specs for IS F Sport under normal driving conditions? I'm thinking any of leasing for 36 mos but don't want to pay for replacements.

Good advice. I had those tires on my old 335i as well as my RS4. Amazing tires. Now that I have an AWD with all-season tires, however, I'm sticking with stock. I don't feel like doing the summer/winter swap or buying an extra pair of rims because my car is only a 27 month lease. I live in the city and rarely get to push it to actually enjoy the potential of the PSS anyway. But they are great tires!

I'm at 14500 km on the Turanza EL400-02 and I have about 6/32nds left under normal (sometimes spirited) driving.

I will tough it out this winter but by this time next year I will need to change the tires to something better.

stock tires hold this car back so much. Car comes so alive on the track and cornering with a good set of tires.

Good to know they don't last long (the 140 treadlife indicator is worse than Bridgestone's own summer performance tires).

On a side note, I actually like these tires for daily driving. They are quiet, supple in ride quality, stable in turns, and they give the car a playful feel. That being said, I have had better tires (PSS, they are roughly 4-5lbs lighter than the Bridgestones), so I am looking forward to replacing these.

low tread life is typical for brand new cars, so it's no surprise to see only 10-15k miles out of them. of course having 140 treadwear doesn't help.

for some reason the OE tires just wear out much faster! i've seen the same tire brand go for much longer when bought outside of OE spec'd ones! i always felt that this is a ploy of some sort from not only lexus but other OEMs as well.

manufacturer just wants to throw on some cheap tires to get it out the door, only place you see great tires on cars is the high performance ones.

Are you saying after 20km of highway driving your tires are still almost new?
