IS350 F SPORT AWD 2015 Winter Tire setup
Hi, guys I need some help here with winter tire setup with IS350 F sport AWD 2015.
This is my first time driving AWD, did some research but very confused with winter tire setup with IS350 F Sport AWD winter tire setup.
Should i be getting staggered 225/40/18 front 255/35/18 rear setup or
225/45/17 (all four tires) would be fine?
Any help would be appreciated.

225 in the rear would result in a stretched tire - not too fond of that idea personally but all to their own (i like stretch, ran and will be running stretched tires in the future but never have ran them on any of my winter wheels mostly because i don't need that extra worry on a snowy day_)

As a better reference to our winter -- the base model (IS250/IS350 AWD or RWD) has 225/45/17 according to Lexus Canada web site.
The staggered 18" tire setup is fine as well but -1 size helps in winter driving though you lose some aesthetics (because the wheels are smaller)

I went with 225/45/17 just last week and they work perfectly. The rims look smaller but it's something I am prepared to deal with.
Just fyi I am having big issues with my TPMS sensors on the winters. Tried some aftermarket that were 'designed' for my car but the car wouldnt read them. Now I've got the OEM sensors but for some reason they're not being read either. It seems we HAVE to go with OEM and not every tire shop can program them. Big pain in the *** process for me so far but I hope I get it resolved soon

I have yet to swap to my Winter set yet but last year I ended up going with an aftermarket TPMS made by Schrader which is called EZsensors. My tire shop could program them alright but due to the fact that 2014 IS TPMS was not available at that time, the sensors were programmed for a different car and no TPMS data was displayed in the dash. This year it should be fine. Just learned recently Canadian Tire car service also carry EZsenors but for me they are not my preferred shop.
Used to get OEM sensors but pissed that Toyota/Lexus sometimes uses different sensors for different year of the same car. And TPMS sensors could reach EOL if you keep the car long enough. In my case, I had to replace TPMS for my previous 2IS 2 years before I switch to 3IS but couldn't reuse them on 3IS.
For our IS, you just need the dealership to register the sensor IDs of your other set and a respectable tire shop can program it with the right tool such as those made by Bartech
If you are in GTA, you can try the tire shop I go to. They are good and careful. Just PM me.
