Wow those tires are great but heard they last about 10-12k miles when sitting proper.

Got another alignment today. First shop had no idea what they were doing or probably set it as the last gen car.*

My toe was almost 1° total with my right rear being 0.84 toed out. Ffffff.*

Set now at 0.05° toe in both sides.

Camber is still at - 2.1° and - 2.7°. Is it because the springs settled at different heights?

Yes sir, you are correct. My toe was off around 1°, so it was a significant amount that attributed to my increased tire wear. Surprised they didn't die sooner.

I have been considering the RSR Downs but this is what I'm worried about...uneven tire wear

Went in for 15k service interval. What BS. 100 bucks to lexus just to " look " at the car. Everything checks out 8/32 wear all across all 4. I have the wheel and tire package insurance too. Personally I don't think that the dealer knows the car is lowered. Considering it's a 350 Fsport they just think it's a cool car when I bring it in for service

Has anyone else had any uneven tire wear? What did your specs came out to be after alignment?

LOL people still gonna argue me if i say, You need camber kit and correct your alignment if you lower more than 1 inch, when you mod your suspension your specs is out of whack unless you do it properly, if anyone tells you you don't need Camber Kit, that person don't know nothing about Suspension geometry. Ya maybe rough ride bouncy ride or harsh ride ok for him or her not ok for you and your friend. If your camber out of specs you'll feel weird on highway speed !

Speaking of RSR down i thought it's only lowers your car 0.8 inch to 0.9 inch ? even with 1 inch lowered your camber still off.

-2.7 is kind of a lot. That's a track duty setup. I'd go no more than -1.5 to -2 if you can adjust it. -2.7 means you're slammed if you did not alter the camber with anything but springs. I'd raise the car up to something respectable and get the camber bolts they sell on ebay and have your alignment guy go to -1 to -1.5 max for a daily/slightly performance setup.

Nah. Much longer than that. Even with street, performance, and HEAVY canyon use with an aggressive performance alignment with plenty of toe in and negative camber (aggressive chasing down porsche 911s on weekends), I was going on 20-25k on a set on my BMWs. Ran about three sets. Extremely good and durable tire.

Yes, your rear tires have toe wear issue. Did they find out why the spec was so off? I thought you said the toe was adjusted to 0 originally.

It seems that some IS owner with lowering springs have this issue on the rear. Sure , the -2.7 camber doesn't help either but the issue is the toe wear.

i bought the spc camber arms yesterday and will have them installed friday. i haven't driven much on the tires that are on the car now and the rears are the ones that are visibly showing the excessive negative camber. i hope this works because i don't want to have to spend a grand every six months on tires.
