The car is good at doing a few hot laps.
I was able to catch up with some Ferrari 458s on a set of Conti DWS.
But if you want it to last the whole even you need good ventilation for the brake .
My EBC yellow stuff over heated at the 2nd section.
And also transmission cooler is highly recommended.

So what's with the choice of stock tire? The Turanzas don't seem to have great grip, are loud on rough pavement, and are expensive. What exactly are they optimized for, I wonder?

Pilot Super Sport, Bridgestone S-04 tire are tires that's good for getting you to and on the track.
Dunlop Direzza Star Spec, Yokohama AD08 are some good choices for track days.
