I am planning on buying this vehicle in February. At least, if I can find it. I am planning on either having it shipped to Oregon or flying out and driving it back from wherever it is.

I don't want to spend any more than $40k

Black interior, and I like the blind spot option as well. What do you guys think ?

Depending on the miles anything is possible. Have you thought about leasing?

I want to upgrade the stereo system and put different wheels. Not sure if that is possible with a lease.

i see alot of dealers around me charging almost brand new prices for a used 14 IS350FSport. i saw one with 18K miles for $42K, WTF! There aren't many yet, and I think that's the main problem. I'm trying to wait a year when they all come back from the 24 month leases, prices should drop much more by then into the mid 30's, I hope!

They will. Two year 30% depreciation will put them easily in the mid thirties or less. Of course, you will have to be ok with 30k miles or so (still a very young vehicle mileage-wise).

I have no problem with 30k, that's what we got our rx at and it's still feels brand new. With the is I'll be putting tons of miles on it
