Interior Lighting Question
I have a question about interior lighting, specifically at night.
I see how I can adjust the dash and the nav screen independently and how I can set different values for day or night, in that the lighting dims when the headlights are turned on. All good.
But tonight, I noticed the white ring around the tach (I was in sport mode) was too bright. So I used the buttons by my left knee to turn it down a bit. But when I did so, all the button lights on the center stack, doors, etc. got dimmer as well - too dim. So it appears the gauge cluster lighting and the interior button backlights are tied to one another.
It's fine when it's in normal mode. But when in sport mode, I turn the gauge cluster down as it is too distracting when it's bright white. Problem is, all the other lights in the cabin then become too dim.
This car seems to be infinitely configurable and customizable. Wouldn't it make sense to be able to adjust the gauge cluster and other interior buttons independently of each other? Seems like a no brainer, but I can't figure out how to do it, or if it's even possible. Am I missing something or did Lexus really overlook this?

I have never seen separate controls for each light. I haven't driven with sport mode on in the dark where it was too bright but can easily imagine this happening. I'd say you need to dim everything..

This car is so customizable that it surprises me that these two lighting systems are tied together.
