Default wind noise

guys,

recently, i've been doing a lot of road trips during the weekends.

thats the only chance i get to explore the high-speeds.

the stability and handling at high speeds are excellent (140km/h or 87mph)

however, the most annoying thing at that speed is the wind noise.

its gushing all over the car.

anyone has that experience and tried to fixit?

thanks!

my car's wind noise only appears above 140km/h, which annoys me as i need to turn up my stereo.

Are your windows/sunroof open? I've done a few road trips and haven't experienced anything.

I heard that cars with clearbras on the side mirrors cause wind noise.. not sure why.

Actually technically any exterior modification (however slight) that was not tested at the factory can change the wind dynamics.

Mine is quiet. Maybe it's relative. The '94 GS has a bit of wind noise, so the IS seems like a rolling library in comparison.

There is a little whistle with the Clear Bra on the side view mirrors. The ledge of the bra causes a turbulence that whistles a little, you can fix by cutting back a little further or a small piece of scotch tape

I thought I had some excessive wind noise, but it turned out to be the ventilated seats were on.

I think my IS350 is more noisy than my other cars on high speed but i can't say it is wind noise. I think it is more on road noise from the wheels and floor.
