Button on rear view mirror

Hey guys i've got a button on my rear view mirror on my 2014 IS350 and don't know what it does.

Theres a green light and the words 'auto'
Any ideas?

you'll have three garage door openers (1-3) and a button to turn the mirror dimming on and off.

i believe the side mirrors also dim if equipped.
