Default 3IS Electrical problem - Video

Back in July my is350 wouldn't start, took it in and they said the battery was fine and I called BS. Yesterday I tried to start the car and it had a seizure, so maybe they were right the battery was fine but clearly there is something wrong. I tired to start it and it made the sound an air drill putting on lug nuts would make...lights went crazy, I figured it was the battery and tried to use a jump box and the lights went nuts like a disco seizure... one of my buddies tried to jump start me, same thing. After work some ten hours later we jump started it after letting it charge for ten minutes and it fired right up like nothing every happened. This is now the second electrical malfunction I've had with this vehicle and it hasn't even had it's first oil change yet, any ideas?

Gee. I'd put that car on a flatbed and take it, along with that video, straight to the dealership. As we have seen all over the media this last couple of weeks, it is hard to dispute video!

when a battery goes dead, sometimes you cant try to jump immediately, takes some time to put it on a charger to revive it. Which it seems like what happened when you waited 10 minutes. The the big clicking noise is probably the main starter or ignition relays trying to go but not enough juice.

Go straight to the dealer and tell them its BS! If this happens 2 more times then you can claim a Lemon! (if your state allows it)

I called Fresno Lexus, the first thing out of the lady's mouth was "we don't have any loaners", uhhh what? instead of addressing the issue or guiding me to someone who can that was the answer I got, wow. I'm gonna take it in and listen to the excuse. I think it's after 3 or 4 attempts it's a lemon if I'm not mistaken?

Looks and sounds like a lemon, on the bright side maybe you'll get a new car? I've also never heard dealer say no more loaner, that's simply not acceptable.

Been at the dealer 2 days, status: Waiting for a Lexus field rep engineer to come out Monday...Guess I'll just keep driving the 2015 RX350 loaner.

Today (8th day) they said Lexus told them to redo all the positives and grounds, recharge the battery and test it tomorrow then release it if it's ok.....have a feeling I'll be making another video in the near future and that will be electrical issue #3.

work order says:
PERFORMED SCAN TEST. PERFORMED BATTERY HEALTH TEST. CONTACTED LEXUS TECHLINE. WAS DIRECTED TO CHECK TIGHTEN ALL GROUND CONTACTS. LET VEHICLE SET FOR 2 DAYS WITH NO START. RE-TESTED. VEHICLE STARTED EACH TIME TESTED. VEHICLE IS WORKING AS DESIGNED AT THIS TIME.

So basically they have no idea what it is and found no cause for the electrical issue. Looks to be on it's path to a lemon, we will see.
