Must Need Dash Cam Must Need!
So I've got into accidents where the other party is at fault but denies it and turn the arrow back at me. I really need a reliable dash cam that works with quality. Anyone uses dash cams and can give some tips?

I've been using E-prance Mini 0801 for a few months now. It's a good small camera, easy to hide and affordable.
Amazon.com : New Mini 0801 Original Ambarella A2S60 Chip 5M pixel CMOS Car DVR Recorder + High Resolution Full HD 1080P 30 FPS, OV2710 + G-sensor License Plate + 135 Degree Wide Angle View : Vehicle On Dash Video : Electronics

Did you had to hard wire and where would the power source plug in from?

I hard wire the plug from center console cig lighter. I had to take out some trims to route the wire from center console to rearview mirror, the power cable is actually not long enough so I also had to use usb mini extension cable.

I purchased the platinum model. It's great. It has rear and front camera in hd with sound. If you are close enough, you can even playback or see live time on your phone as well.
Also if the sd card is filled up, the device will automatically delete older footage. hope that helped!

Dash cams are great. Had to get one for my daily commute. I've been using this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/DABONDA-HUNTER-DBR-1000H-8GB-Real-HD-720p-30fps-Video-Car-Digital-DVR-/301274589126?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item46255d67c6 for over a year in my Fit without any problems. The only annoying thing is that every 30 seconds it chimes to remind you it's recording. I can't figure out how to turn off the notifications. Anyways, I got used to it and hardly notice it anymore. I think this one is made in Korea and they offer other models.

FinalPeace,
Here's a previous forum link to the installation and photos of a Blackvue DR550GW-2CH dash cam that we installed in our ISs:

Hope that helps. Mine works great.
