Great article. Something about that Infiniti I just don't like. Maybe it's the almost Buick style interior or just the luxury family hauler look of the outside. Nice enough car but other than Infiniti's cool looking SUV's I'm simply not a fan of their lineup. Honestly the Lexus IS is the coolest most "sports car" looking of the bunch with BMW right behind. 435 Grand Coup is closer to "sports car" look than the regular 335 IMO

well, the new Lexus will be picked up today at noon and my cars dropped off. Pics of the new ride coming soon. Goodbye Mercedes and BMW, you've both been great cars.

The BMW I didn't have for all that long and while it's a nice car, it's the previous body style.
However...saying goodbye to the Mercedes was tough. Luckily that Lexus is beautiful. The color in person of the Atomic Silver is incredible. I haven't inspected all that comes with the car but so far for what comes standard on the car as well as in the F sport package neither of my other vehicles had all these bells and whistles. Even the rims that comes with the F Sport...WOW. Zero reason for me to ever get different rims (even though I've seen some great rims on this site). Easily nicest factory rims to come on a car stock that I've owned.
The dealership was very nice and respectful of our time. Big thumbs up to Classic Lexus. Another dealership in Cleveland tried to undercut them at the last minute and offered me $500 more for my cars and the final check to me even after I told them I have a gentleman's agreement with Classic Lexus. I told them, "sorry guys, you originally came in $1,500 LESS than Classic Lexus and said you couldn't do any better. Now you're willing to cough up $2,000 more than originally quoted. I'll stick with Classic Lexus"

One day in with the car and I already am in love with it. More than enough power for my city driving. So far I do like the drive system versus the mouse thingy Lexus uses. Does it get easier to navigate? Man that mouse it touchy and almost distracting when I'm driving.
Also, anyone know why my blind spot monitor doesn't make any noise? All I see is the side mirrors light up when someone is beside you on the road. There is no dinging noise. Never had that feature so not sure if that's the way it is but I thought there would be a noise emitting when someone passes you.
One other thing. Whenever I am listening to my iPhone via bluetooth the nag screen refuses to stay on that screen and revers to the Lexus Enform page. That shouldn't happen right? I want it to stay on the music screen.

I think the mouse gets easier to use after time personally. I got used to the feedback. You can also adjust the feedback in the settings menu as well. My blind spot monitor makes no noise but the rear cross traffic does. IMO, if the blind spot monitor dinged every time a car was in my blind spot I'd turn it off. That would be so annoying. I find the lights on the mirrors alone pretty helpful. Mine stays on the music screen, so I don't know why it's changing. Someone else might know.

There is a bit of a learning curve with the mouse but it does get better. Not perfect, but you get used to it.
I would definitely not want the blind spot monitor to ding every time. Your car would be dinging non-stop.
I believe there's something in the settings where you can change a function that automatically switches the screen.
