I've got a nice quote for MSRP 45,665 for 42,000. Although I do have other motivated dealers. One is asking if I want to lease and I'm not sure if I should tell him. He said that he wanted to know if he'll be able to get his money back on the car. Also if someone said their invoice was 42,4 what should I do to see if they're interested in negotiating?

Also, negotiate the MF (money factor), don't put anything down but "drive-off fees", and do MSD's (Multiple Security Deposits)

As long as you negotiate the lowest selling price possible, it doesn't matter if they know whether you are leasing or conventionally financing unless one or the other has a special incentive available. The residual % is set by Lexus and you should get the best money factor if your credit score is 700 or better. So concentrate on negotiating the lowest price you can get - email as many dealers as you can to get some competition going.

Out of curiosity and along the thought of no money down, why would you not roll the drive off fees into the monthly lease payment calculation? The max MSD should reduce your MF to almost nothing?

Absolutely - if you can get the vehicle for nothing out of pocket - do it! Especially if you are able to use max msd's. You get to use someone else's money for free or almost free.
