We need to let Lexus corporate know the lag with '14 model. Hopefully we will get TSB for hardware swap but I highly doubt it happening.

Our car is covered by a 3 year warranty against "manufacturer" defects. How can we prove navigation slowness is a defect? Definitely in the 2015 navigation it is no longer a defect.


Edit: when i read more about the marketing for the warranty we might be able to fight this...

That's why I said highly doubtful but if we made a lot of noise Lexus might listen. "Slowness" is definitely not defect but I do see blue flashes on my screen and sometime the ordering of Source in AV gets reset to factory many times.

Slowness is definitely an indication of "low quality" and something that Lexus is very adamant against. Well actually Lexus did listen and they fixed it for 2015.
