2014 IS 250 AWD Battery dead
Hello,
2 month old car and battery dead already. I had not driven the car for 2 days (that should not matter) Got it boosted. Took it to the dealer and said the battery was very weak. They charged the whole battery. They said I probably left an accessory light on. I did not.
What could cause the battery drain?
I heard somewhere that using bluetooth within the car could drain the car.
Also having your vehicule lights to Automatic (meaning they open at night automatically ) without you opening them pysically.
Please advise on this issue, because I am somewhat scared that if i am stuck in traffic the battery could die and I cant move.
Thanks,

already been discussed and no one knows the answer as of yet.

oh, and it's not likely the car will die after it's already been started, but rather, it might just leave you stranded somewhere when it won't start.

I posted stating I had an Acura and went thru 4 -5 batteries. I had to resolve it and went online to research it. Others had same problem. It was the Bluetooth..so, I disconnected it myself ..( and, disconnected it for a friend who had same car) following the diagram on website... (easy - takes 10 minutes with a screwdriver) no problem since. Doubt Lexus and Acura will admit it. The Bluetooth is always on.. draining the battery when the car is not in use... And, like the other person stated.. it won't happen while you're driving. If you Google Bluetooth Acura TL draining battery.. you'll see articles.. If you keep searching you're find out how to disconnect.
