3M Coat for '14 3IS
I was wondering if anyone has gotten the 3M coat for their car and if it was worth doing it? I just purchased a new 3IS and do a majority of driving on the highway.
Also, what parts of the vehicle did you have covered with the 3M coat?

I had a shop wrap my 3IS with a clear bra right after my purchase and I think it was the single best investment I made. Not a single chip during almost a year of ownership. I went with front bumper, half hood, and side mirrors because these are the areas most susceptible to impact of rock chips etc. Not really necessary to do full hood or whole car for that matter although it would look better but wont add better marginal protection. Also I went with Xpel Ultimate which according to many experts is the best most durable clear bra on the market currently. The shop gave 10 year warranty. I highly recommend especially if you do mostly highway drive.

DO IT! I've had my car for only a month and was contemplating it myself, and now ive got 2 rock chips in the front bumper. i now have to touch it up before applying the clear bra. The ultra white paint is very very soft.

3 years and no rock chips with my clear bra, also I see you are from GA, do you get love bugs at all? The love bug protection is the best thing about it, no washing your car off every day. I already have a reservation to get my new one wrapped when I get it.

I did full hood which I believe is important, bumper and front sides. An area many forget about is the sides of the front windshield from hood to roof and from top of windshield to sunroof. Got those done as well. Also, do the cup areas of the door handles which get scratch over time from opening doors.
