3IS LED headlight wont stay on
I was wondering if anyone can chime in or if this has happened to anyone. my driverside headlight randomly stopped working last night after i came out from a restaurant. the driverside was off the most of the ride home until it flickered on. now it randomly will only turn on for a split second then shut off.
i recently had my headlight / front bumper replaced and i was wondering what could cause this? normally if it was hid instead of led i would say its a weak ballast or so but i do not know how the LED headlights work. also the car is too new to have a weak ballast.
i do not believe its a fuse because the headlight will not turn on at all if it was a fuse. i also checked the box and all the fuses look intact. please advise if anyone can help.
thanks!

Perhaps a loose connector?

i plan on going to the shop that replaces the headlight/bumper today and then possibly the dealer. the replacement work was done through insurance. would the dealership be able to pull up that kind of information?
the dealer was going to be my second option because i dont want them knowing the headlight was replaced or anything was worked on by another shop.
im just curious if anyone knew how the headlight assembly works with LED headlights? i dont even know what drives the led headlight to make it fail. the possible loose connector makes sense, but a bad bulb this early on? i tried looking for the bulb socket but the lowbeam was where you cant see in towards the fender.
