Though the $219.95 includes Safety Connect for $139.00. So it's $80 difference to add it to Safety Connect. So it's either $80, or $220, depending on how you look at it.

I own a 2014 IS250 and tried signing up on the Lexus Remote App for these features and got the msg "Vehicle not supported" etc so pressed the SOS button for vehicle assistance and manage to connect to a support operator who advised its standard on the 2015 models AND will be also rolled out later in the year to other previous models.
Hopefully this is true and won't be too long!

^^^ I really do hope for that as I was told the same thing. Especially as I was buying the dealer said there was no Remote Start available for the vehicle.That was one of the requirements for me before buying the car, to have the ability to start it when it's cold or really hot. I hope it happens some time soon.

Just got a 2015 ES. I am understanding that 2015 ES's with Navigation are also compatible with Enform Remote. Can anyone confirm or deny? I downloaded app on my iPhone, registered, got PIN, entered VIN and am being told that I don't have a subscription to remote application. Enform App Suite is working fine. Any suggeggestions.

you're right pointing out the problem. its always either the hardware of the software. if there is such a high demand for it, why can't Lexus offer their customers to swop out the transmitter, even if it costs us an acceptable fee? if you can't swop the transmitter, why cant you create a second one to work along side the first or bypass it, and pair it up with the new software. if you can't do that, then don't tell me why it won't work, TELL ME WHY YOU ARE CHOOSING TO NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT WHEN TONS OF CUSTOMERS WANT IT!??!?!?

When your dealer registers your car for Safety Connect, they have to select opt-in for Enform Remote. Make sure they have done that. App Suite is a separate thing.

I called Lexus HQ they told me that the res+ is something that has to be installed by the dealer and its only going to work for 14 and older models. The enform remote is something new and build in to the vehicle as a standard on 15 and later vehicles But you do have to pay for a annual fee of I believe 129 vs 65 on the res+. and as pictured the 2015 RX.GX and LX are the only 2015 that does not have the enform remote feature. Does that mean it will work with RES+ then? Well I know for fact the 15 RX and GX does because I have a 15 GX with RES+ installed and a friend with a 15 RX with RES+ installed and works perfectly. However I'm not sure about the 2015 LX as that's what I'm trying to find out Because I own one as well and I'm hoping I can get it to work.

Lexus Enform is $219.95 a year (18.33 a month) and the remote is available for supported vehicles. Turns out the trial period is a year long; so I'm still using it on my 2015 IS.

A few dozen people on an online forum doesn't translate to "tons of customers," nor would such a retrofit translate to anything but a loss for Lexus. Very few car manufacturers (as in, nearly 100%) ever offer a current model year feature to prior model year vehicles, especially after the sale. It kind of discourages the concept of getting people to upgrade.

Sorry, but that's just the way the market works.

I am a little confused so will res+ be available even as a cost for 14' IS? If so can this be done anytime, I'd certinaly be interested it's kinda a little upsetting what's involved to remote start for my current purchase.
