Default Grille Surround from Sewell Lexus (Anyone Using?)

Hey i was wondering if anyone as looked at replacing the grille surround with a color coded one from the sewell website. IT is like 195 bucks for club lexus members. I know many have wrapped theirs with vinyl but there is no way to make that wrap look perfect and I am very OCD. I am thinking about purchasing the obsidian to replace the chrome on my white IS. Any feedback or pictures would be greatly appreciated. Here is the link to the part i am talking about

I'm at work and dont have any pics on my phone. I will post one later. The grill surround makes the front look way better. I also have the black pearl emblems so my whole front is blacked out. I think it looks much better than the stock chrome surround and resin front emblem.

If you're gonna do color match then the painted option from Sewell is the option to go for. Like others have said, make sure to register with your CL username to get the discount.

If you just want to black it out, like i did, just go with the vinyl wrap method. You don't have to take apart the grill or bumper to do it.

I did mine in 3M Gloss Black material.

Before:

After:

And here's one after i installed the custom tinted L badges.

Has anyone done plasti-dip? The Raail brand? My shop guy wants to use that opposed to vinyl but I am uncertain if that's smart.

Please advise if anybody knows

I was debating on plastic coating mine as well, but i really wanted a nice gloss finish and didn't feel like dealing with spraying black and then spraying glossifier on top. If you plan on doin a matte black finish, then plastic coating might be an option.

Any pros and cons in Sewell vs Vinyl Wrap? I really wanna get rid of the chrome trimmings on my obsidian 250 and have been wondering which option is best.
