Default Road Hazard Warranty? My IS350 is my first sports car and need advice!

This is my first sports car and I've never given any thought to the tires until someone mentioned it to me. I passed on the road hazard warranty at the dealership and was wondering if any of you have any experience with the Lexus warranty or a warranty from somewhere else and if you would recommend? I don't even know how it works? Can you go into a tire store and ask for a tire and rim warranty? Thanks so much. I'm definitely a noob.

if you mess up the wheels or tires you bring it to the dealer so they can fix it if its repairable. Dont see why a tire shop would honor lexus warranty. Honestly if you are good about not hitting stuff with your wheels, save your money

Gotcha. I don't know if I'm good with these wheels is why I'm nervous. Always had an F150 and just kinda drove where I wanted to ha.

I got the warranty but haven't used it yet. I think it's worth it. One tire and rim is at least $500. The 5-year warranty is ~$750

I had it on my last car and my wheels got some stains on it - the dealer wouldn't warranty my wheels for the stains - i thought that was BS cause i had the warranty that i paid for. I wouldn't buy it again.....

I purchased the tire and wheel plan when I bought my IS 350 f sport 3 months ago. Paid $700 for a 4 year plan. Within 60 days I had a bent rim from hitting a pothole. Lexus replaced the entire rim because they deemed it a structural defect. Already paid for the warranty and still have 4 more years. I live in NY which is notorious for potholes. IMO this is a must for this car for anyone who lives in area prone to potholes due to the low profile tires.
