Default Different width wheels and tires on AWD F Sport

Hi Everyone! First post...

Ordered my IS350 F Sport AWD yesterday, and waiting for my color combination to come in (probably next week sometime).

Anyway, my question is, has anybody put different width wheels and tires on their IS with AWD system? I was going big with a 20x9 front 20x10 rear setup. I wanted to order the wheels so they get here fast, as I'm not in love with the stock set.

I just wanted to make sure it didn't f up anything mechanically.

Thanks in advance!

The width won't matter mechanically. It will come down to how much variance in rolling diameter you can get away with on the tires though. Stock staggered is very close, but not exact.

I'm also curious as to the widest front tire that can be installed. I'd like to go with a 18x9 or 19x9 with a 265 tire all around.

I am in the same boat, I had an evo x and on it you could not stagger the wheels, or tires, but my awc IS 250 has staggered tires, so I called Vossen and was told, I can not stagger the wheels they have to be the same width, offset can be different but the width has to be the same so 20x 9 all around and then I can stagger the tires if I wanted, so not sure anymore, but some more input would be great

i have staggard 19" vossen cvt's on my awd. 19x8.5 fronts and 19x10 rears. no problem with anything. as long as you keep your rolling diameter close you will be fine

Thanks for the input guys! I think I'm going to go with 20x9 245-35-20 and 20x10 265-30-20
