Default 20mm Spacer Track Use

I'm looking to buy a set of Akata 20mm spacers to give my car a more flush look, but I'm a bit concerned about safety. I may occasionally take it to the track and I worried they might not be able to hold up (these are bolt on spacers). Although I don't have any experiece with spacers, so I just want your insight.

I'm going to hook up them up to factory torque settings, lock tite the nuts and not use an impact gun (this may be hard with dealers) but I'm still don't know if this is sufficient. I like my factory 18s and since my car is leased I dont want new wheels.

Thoughts?

if you plan to change your tires in the future, 20mm will rub. Specially in the rear. I ran 20mm both on front and back on stock wheels and tires no issue for six months. (It looks great by the way).

I replaced my tires (side wall damage) on stock wheels few days ago (to Michelin PSS), i had major rub issue on the rear. I had to replace the 20mm on rear with 15mm. I am still running 20mm in the front mild rubbing when i am on a curb and at an angle.

I am on a down springs too. Although i can't say anything about track use. Hope this helps.

If you're going to track, then I would not recommend Akata spacers.
They may be 'okay' for street use, but I would not want to know the outcome if they fail under heavy use.

I know you're in a budget, that is the only reason you'd look into Akata spacers. I highly recommend Ichiba or H&R spacers instead, but they cost a lot more for the safety and assurance.

I wouldn't track on spacers. period. 1 (point of failure) less thing to worry about.
