Default Help on these Lease numbers, please

Hey Guys/Gals,

I have been communicating with a few dealerships, looking for an IS250 F-Sport to lease. Below is the best response I have received and would like to know what you guys think:

Keys Lexus
IS250 F-Sport (Base, non-nav)
43,138 MSRP
27 Months
12K Miles/Year
$1000 Out of Pocket
8% Tax
Tier 1 Credit

$395/Month

ASSUMING .00085 MF & 71% RV, as I did not get these values from the dealership. I am communicating with them via e-mail

Want to see what you guys think, and if I can get that payment any lower.

Thanks!!!!

Not bad, seems like you can get it lower.

This is my deal, waiting for the car, still in japan, apparently it hard to get the Ultra White Rioja Interior, dealership looked over 1 month for me none in the ohio area.

MSRP : $48,687.00
Got it down to $45,500

Fully Loaded AWD 350 F Sport Ultra White Roija Interior,

$468 Month, 12k, 27 months, $3,000 down taxes, fees, plates, everything included.

And $12,000 Cash for my 08 Pontiac G8.

what do you guys think?

To really zero in on the numbers we need the MSRP. negotiated price of the car and the MF (money factor) and RV(residual value) your money factor should be around .00085 or so

Not too sure what you mean by the 12k from your G8. Is that paying it off and rolling it into the lease, or 12k in cash they are giving you and you are using to put down?

Thanks guys, the vehicle MSRP is 43,138. As for MF and RV, I am going to assume they are using the national values of .00085 and 71%

How much did you get off MSRP? Need that for the calculation of a lease. The MF should be .00085 but that is one area the dealer can play games with the unsuspecting leaser. The RV is set by Lexus so that number stays the same I believe.

The car is paid off, There cutting me a check for the $12k, it has over 90,000k on it.

Not really sure what to do, maybe i should wait until the 2015 models come out? Is the awd Ultra White Roija Interior 350 F sport really that hard to get or are they giving me a run around?

They can be hard to get and probably even harder in Ohio, doubt there will be much different on the 15s than the 14s. If you really want that combo, order the 2015

Sounds like a deal to me! I just went to one of my local Lexus dealerships and got a quote for $569 per month on a 36 mths lease with 12,000K. The car is the '14 IS250 F-Sport AWD fully loaded. They want to give me $7,000 for my '06 IS250 plus I put down $3,000. I'd say go for it

Sounds like a good deal. I was just given a quote today for $569 on a '14 IS250 F-Sport AWD putting down $3,000. They offered me $7000 for my '06 IS250 plus I am rolling in $3,000 in negative equity. For that color combination, I'd definitely go for it

I did! Car should be here first week of july! Excited, going to miss my G8, but i think i will get over it quick!

That seems high! Where are you located? Did you get an estimate on a 350 to compare? I went to three different Lexus locations and got this deal on my third try.

Do you mind stating which dealership in Ohio you got this deal from? I ended up with similar numbers after checking with multiple dealerships and a bit of pushing, just curious . I had a terrible buying experience from the Akron-Canton dealership, they turned me off very quickly with their rudeness(though this is probably salesperson specific) and ultimately bought in Toledo.

7k for your 06? You must have had extremely high mileage or beat the crap out of it. What is their reasoning for 7k trade in?

Actually was Akron/Canton, had a great experience there very patient and went out of their way. I had a bad experience at Metro they were rude & inconsiderate, got a nasty email from one salesman telling me I negotiated too much & hope I find the car I want elsewhere... Was shocked. Won't go back again or recommend them.

If you don't mind me asking what was your final deal? How are you liking the car?! Can't wait to get mine, should be in first week of July.

Interesting how the salesperson can make or break your buying experience, really loving the car and I would buy it again for sure although had my previous car made it this far I would consider the RC coupe coming this fall. My deal was for purchase (Obsidian with Roija interior) and final numbers were:

MSRP: $49440
Negotiated: $46190
Rebates: College Grad & Financing -$1750
OTD: $48038

Sadly we don't get deals as good as the Californians but knowing you got a good deal relative to your buying location is all you can aim for.
