Default My Annoyance After One Week

When sunlight shines on the dash at a certain angle it makes how fast you're going, gas gauge etc completely invisible. That's pretty annoying Anyone else notice this?

Try turning turning your brightness settings up, I have no problem with visibility at anytime of the day, even when wearing sunglasses. Hope this helps

Have not had this problem in F Sport cars. My brightness for daytime setting is about 75%.

Ditto, I don't think this is an issue for the F-sport cluster.

I had the same "issue" until I realized the default brightness of the cluster is at 50%. I put it to about 75% and all good.

You guys are lucky. As I've posted before, it can be a real issue on the standard cluster.

For reference, here is ambient lighting conditions without sunlight through the sunroof:

So this is the result of having direct sunlight passing through an open roof? No comment further...

It happens by coming in through the sunroof but can also happen through the side windows, depending on the time of day and the angle of the sun.

Yep I've had it on both. Never had the problem with my 13 is250 with an open roof. Doesn't make sense why they would put a sunroof in a car if it did this??

All cars have that problem. Try to watch tv with the afternoon sun on the screen whether it be analog, LCD, or plasma. It's the nature of the sun and screens. Maybe they should develop an auto-brightness feature like am ipad.
