I have my home screen set to show audio on the left side, weather upper right and climate lower right. Even though the audio section is the whole left side of the screen, it does not display the artist or song information for radio stations. If I click on audio, though, then in the full audio screen (with presets, etc.), it does show the artist and song information. Any idea how to get the info to display on the home screen? Thanks

Our home screen is split as well. We have the radio set up on the right side. We normally listen to XM and it does show the artist and song, at least most of each depending on number of characters. Try moving it to the right side.

I have mine set up as map left side, radio top right, and weather bottom right and it displays the song info for me. It may be because the left side is longer than it is wider so it can't display it properly which is weird because why would it have audio as an option if that is the case. Try moving the audio and see if you still have the issue.

Same here. I have the audio on upper right of home screen and it show the artist and song name.

Thanks. Just to clarify--mine shows artist and song for XM, just not radio. But, the head unit is getting that info, because I can see it if I go to the full radio screen. I will try swapping the position to upper right. Seems odd.

^^ I have mine set to 2 way split screen - audio left and navi right. The audio will only show artist info on XM (or iPod), but when it's on a radio station it will only show station info. If I select audio and pull up full screen, all info is visible regardless.

I just returned from my 5,000 service and they performed a hard reboot (for infotainment issue) and now my artist and song information shows on my FM stations just like the satellite stations.

Thanks for the update. Just to confirm--you are now able to see this information on the home screen? It's not a huge issue, but it just seems bizarre that the home screen does not display FM staion artist and song info. I've had the firmware updated once for the nav reboot issue.

Yes, it now shows on my home screen. Split screen - left audio (with info) & right navi.
Not all stations show the info kind of like RDS. But, the 3 biggest (non country) stations in this market show info with a picture of the artist playing.
