Its done in one piece and you shouldn't have any issues with it shrinking back as it isn't stretched crazy anywhere.

THIS IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO BE A COMMERCIAL POST!! just answering your guys questions about how it's done, and price.

i did this one for a guy over the summer. i wrapped the grill with avery supreme gloss black vinyl wrap, 1 pc, on the car no prob. i also wrapped the window trim in the same vinyl, plastidipped the fsport badge, rear lexus badge, and smoked the top of headlights & the front lexus emblem with oracal 8300 middle grey smoke film, and the led swoosh smoked out with oracal 8300 dark grey smoke film. i think i charged the guy around $350-400 for all of it. i quoted $80-$100 for the grill section alon. did it in 2 visits.

Plasti dip works just as great as vinyl wrap. I've had mine on for over three months and it's still holding up as if it was newly painted.

Question for those that have their window trims wrapped.... How much did you pay for it? I want the window trims to be a glossed black; if I wanted matte, I would have done it myself with Plasti dip. Please let me know if anyone has done it, and if you have a picture. Thanks!

When I had my 3is wrapped in full clear matte protection (the end result looks more like white satin), I had the front grille trim wrapped in black gloss. I had it for 2 weeks. I didn't like it. Every night I would look at it in my garage and the black trim made my huge grill look small. It's probably just my opinion, so I had it removed a few days ago. Now I'm kind of regretting it. The original chrome doesn't really suit the satin look on the whole car, since all my window trims are wrapped in black gloss as well. So I talked to my installer and he offered me a discount if I wanted to install it back with different color options. He recommended either Black Chrome or Black Satin. Could you guys give your opinions which of the two would best suit my 3is?

Here's the picture when I had my black gloss trim:

I would really appreciate any input from you guys. Black Chrome vs Black Satin for front grille trim?

In the end I decided to go with Black Chrome, since after looking at it for a few days I've grown back into the original chrome look but I just thought black chrome would even be more awesome.

Here are some more pics from my installer before the front grilles trim (black gloss) was removed;

Materials used is Oracal clear matte oraguard. But the finish product looks more like Satin, which I really love!!
