I find the only justifiable interior wrap is for the center console.(or the whole head unit area, because its on physical contact the most)
I didn't feel the need to wrap anywhere else. The oem fake cf effect doesn't look bad to me. (I have black interior, and it's more durable)
I highly recommend center console wrap for people who have the easily scratched issue.

I'm experiencing same throughout my interior as well (almost all surfaces), disgraceful for Lexus.
And anyone notice how the interior is a 'dust' magnet as well?
Not sure why, but more so than any other vehicle I've had.
Strange.

The main problem is that when you wipe the interior, the dust is what scratches it, not the towel. Best thing you can do is use a duster, or just learn to live with the scratches.

Yes, EVERY surface scratches WAY too easily.
And no, not every car does so to the extent this one does.
The clear plastic covering my instrument cluster and clock look awful.
And I don't even clean them that often.

Never, never, never wipe plastic with a dry cloth. Did I say never? If you wash/detail your car on a regular basis, wipe the inside with a cotton cloth wet with water only, then dry with a cotton cloth. Don't use any cleaners. This simple idea keeps scratching to a minimum.

I have 2 $6K black subwoofers. Both were covered in soft cloth.prior to boxing by Velodyne. Both had fine scratches I could see. Tis true of my black speakers too. The nature of black. I believe y'all have scratches but these are misguided complaints against Lexus IMO. Manufacturers will cut corners where they can -- that's the nature of the game -- but it's the end users responsibility to do the research and make decisions on what is acceptable or not.

This is not difficult.
I've been driving for a while; I've had a lot of different cars; I've treated them all the same.
No other car I've had has scratched as easily and badly as this one.
The plastic covers to the instrument cluster and clock should not easily scratch, much less at 6k miles.
Too many defending Lexus, for what reason, I don't know.
It's an issue, and people are voicing their concern.

Too many attacking Lexus for every little thing and not enough people posting what is good and even great about the car imo. If it's not the engine, it's the seats, if it's not the seats, it's fine scratches in the black plastic. It never ends. Take the car in and have them replace the instrument cover and whatever else. I had a rattle in my passenger seat, they replaced it, and when I asked for a make good for my time, they made a car payment for me. No other manufacturer has done that.
So, yeah, I'm a fan. But then again I moved to the solution, got the repair done, and asked the dealer and corp. to make good on my time.

Thanks for insight into how you would handle the situation, but you need not moderate too.
You see the title of this thread, right? You see the original post at the top of it, right?
Does the OP ask if he's being too picky? No. He's asking if others have the same problem.
If you don't have the problem, don't go on to state there is no problem.
Who are you to say how many positive or negative threads or posts there should be?
Want positive threads(?), go make them, but I don't have time to create threads gloating about my car.
I'm only here to voice concern for problems, see who else has same and what they've done about them.
I don't see any rules anywhere stating I can't do that.
Voice your opinion, sure, but you're just causing problem when complaining of the complaints of others.

Umm, here we go again; where is DaveGS4, or whatever the moderator's name is?

Just had a loaner 300h. A brand new car with every surface scratched inside. Some people don't care about it, but too me it looks pretty bad. The quality of the plastics are really bad. I mean just look at the key fob.
