Be prepared for a lot of "you should have bought a 350" responses...
I'm not really aware of anything that isn't ridiculously expensive that will give you meaningful gains in your 0-60 time.

And welcome, by the way, to the club. I hope you enjoy your new IS!

Like any car - the faster you get cold air in and out the better. Since you can't probably go straight to a ported and larger injectors, start with a cold air intake if one is available and then a quality exhaust system.
I've turbo'ed several NA cars with less electronic equipment and to get them reliable, you're talking $10,000+, so you're really only limited to the few small mods you can get your hands on.

probably only realistic thing you could do would be a full exhaust, something less restrictive than stock anyway..
intake I guess, but don't expect any real gains with this.. just a lot of noise

I have an IS 250 F-Sport. I could not justify the expense of the 350 for the driving that I do. I am coming from a '94 GS300, which was a great car for me for 12 years. The 250 is lighter than the GS and has a 6 speed auto vs. the 4 speed, so it is quicker. I know the 250 is not all that quick versus many other cars on the road, but I have a 10 mile round trip commute to work. Most of the speed limits are 50 or less, and there is always traffic. I guess you should think about why 0-60 time is so important and, if the IS250 doesn't do it for you, you should look at getting a different car.
I haven't even had my car for two weeks and I am starting to push it a little more through corners. It feels confident and balanced. I haven't pushed it to rotate yet. I like the firmness of the ride. Cornering is more my thing versus straight line sprints and I grin when I put the car through a nice tight turn. In that department, it doesn't matter much if it's a 250 or 350, but it probably does matter some that it's an F-Sport.
Just think about the driving you do, though. I don't even get the car to 60 that often in a 10 mile round trip. Maybe it's different for you.

I have to say, driving the IS in Sport mode is pretty rewarding. I tend to leave it in normal for day-to-day commuting, and throw it into Sport when the road is open and I want to have a little more fun. No idea what the actual 0-60 difference is, but it certainly feels more urgent/fun.
