Default Maintenance questions

I'm reading the schedule for our services and I'm seeing that drive shafts need to be lubed? Is this even possible? I'm hearing that there are no grease holes but could be mistaken.

Also there's no mention of changing transmission fluid. Is this service not required for the life of the car?

Not sure about lubricating the drive shaft. But out transmission system is supposedly sealed. We aren't required to change the fluid at all.

That sounds odd.. Are transmission failures common with lexus/Toyota?

Would still like to learn about the drive shaft though

I have a RWD if that makes a difference

there are a good number of 2IS owners with over 100k miles. It is possible to change the fluid, but you have to get the dealer to use a special machine to pull all the fluid out.
