Talking Carbon Fiber Mirror Upgrade for 2014 Lexus IS

2014 Lexus IS350 F-Sport Carbon Fiber Exterior Mirror Cover

It's a pretty simple upgrade, yet it makes the car stand out during the day. Installation is straightforward, OEM grade adhesive tape and the piece fits on like a glove. Took me a few minutes to install and definitely makes the IS look different.

It looks great on a dark color IS and stands out even more on a white or silver IS I figure.

Snapped a few photos to share with 3rd gen IS owners and the CL community

Any constructive comments and thoughts are welcomed. I figure it may not be a must-have upgrade for everyone but I personally like it alot

Thanks!

I think they will look pretty nice on an obsidian IS.

It would look good on white if the whole housing and bottom pieces are in CF. Looks like of weird with partial white on bottom.

Probably could vinyl wrap that part I guess..

Seriously considering this to go with my LEMS CF lip as per pics above!

Yes, our carbon fiber mirror cover will not be fully covering the entire mirror. It's a different look
and it's very easy to install. Most importantly, no modifications are required to the mirror assembly at all and no tools are required for installation. As well, it is 100% reversible and does not require tampering with factory equipment (mirror assembly and components).

The LEMS mirror upgrade is nice, no doubt about that. However, it does require taking the mirror assembly apart and start replacing bits and pieces and re-assembling it. On the contrary, our mirror cover is an add-on piece and would keep things rather simple. Just my 2 cents

Personally, I'd prefer keeping the factory body components and mirror assembly from Lexus and that would make me feel more comfortable.

i really like that, i just don't think its worth it on black lexus. It looks really nice on the white one or maybe a silver one.
