Absolutely

Rather surprised some of the Obsidian owners are saying they'd pick a different color, especially since they keep their cars very clean. (though maybe that's the reason?)

I have obsidian and it's too much work to keep it clean. Back to silver for me on the next car.

I'd buy it again, and I'd stick to obsidian. I'd consider USB if it were available in the U.S. I haven't had the navigation and dash issues that others have reported, and mine's from an early run also: July 2013.

Obsidian won't be my next color, especially being me, very OCD with keeping my cars clean. But YES I would buy it again. One of my friends who inquired on getting an IS F-Sport at a dealer is having a hard time, this car is selling like hot cakes in NYC, there is a 3-6 month waiting list and the dealer just keeps snatching other IS's from different states just to bring to NY.

I've got a RWD 350 F-Sport but I wouldn't buy it again. I do like driving it and I love the way it looks - but Toyota/Lexus is killing me with locking down the ECU. There are absolutely 0 cost efficient performance modifications you can do to the car other than dropping weight. I had planned on waiting for the warranty to expire before dropping a turbo in it however my dumbass didn't do the research on it. I didn't think they'd lock it down considering the 1st Gen IS with the 2JZ engine could be turboed and the car was marketed as a luxury tuner car. Let me get more power out of this engine if I want to Lexus :P Yeah I know people have supercharged it with custom setups, but dropping 7-10k for less than 50HP gain isn't exactly my cup of tea.

I plan on test driving the RCF when it hits the local dealerships - that extra 150+ HP would be welcomed.

Definitely would get it again. I traded in my BMW 3 series in for my 2014 IS 250 obsidian/ black int., navi, bsm, park assist, premium package and don't regret it one bit. I love the way the car drives and feels. Definitely have caught a few people staring at the car on the road!

Probably not.
I wanted and had placed an order for a whiteout FRS but since wifey worked for Lexus, she got me a pretty amazing deal. So I opted for it. After having it for a few months, I realized I still hate leather/leatherette seats, steering is numb, too much gadgets for what I needed and little expensive for what it is IMO.

With the money saved by buying a FRS I could've added another rifle to the family... LOL

Not so much anymore. 5 years ago, yes. I am not so much into the power as I am into the look and feel of the ride. With a kid on the way, my zipping through traffic days are over

Love my IS250 Fsport! Would definately buy another. My last was a 2002 IS300 and drove that baby for 12 years. It was hard to give her up but this 2014 is 1000 times more fun. I just wouldnt get Ultra White again. Too hard to keep clean from driving it through puddles and dealing with bird poop stains. Not good for neat freaks like me but other wise LOVE the car!

No.

I hate how if you want the sport package, you have to forget several luxo options. Memory seats, rain sensing wipers are Kia level things... Ignoring cooled seats+power tilt. There are more compromises than I thought. Great car, bit I think the overall package is missing a couple key things.

I would. Haven't seen anything else that catches my eye and is as good looking from all angles, lots of cars are still good looking in a classic kinda way. Just my opinion though. I would def go 350 next time though.

I test drove new 328's, 335's, S4's, G37's and have also driven friends' previous generation (E90, B7, and whatever Infiniti calls the G35 chassis) equivalents. For various reasons I bought the third generation IS 350 F twice. No regrets.
