Good deal..?
Welcome and congrats! My wife and I drove Acuras for 15 years before going Lexus - I think you'll be happy!

Can't comment on how good a deal it is without all the details like msrp, selling price, trade equity, lease terms, residual, money factor, etc. You could've used some of that 4k for MSDs like the UCLA grad in the previous post to reduce the money factor to almost nothing.

Edit - I just remembered - NY doesn't allow MSDs, do they?

Hopefully the details of my lease helps out someone one out there!

Location: NorCal
Car: 2015 IS350 F-Sport with Blind Spot, Navigation/Mark Levinson Audio, Accessory Package. Atomic Silver/Rioja Red.
MSRP: $48,500
Selling Price: $42,200
Rebates: Complementary First Month Payment, College Grad Rebate ($1000)
Mileage: 10k
Length: 24 Months
Residual: 73%
MF: 0.00006 (0.0007-0.00064 from 8 MSD's)
Monthly Payment: $275.23 + $24.77 tax = $300 per month after tax
Drive Off: $380 license and registration + $152.50 down to get my payment to $300 per month + $2,400 Multiple Security Deposits = $2932.50

All in all: 23 payments of $300, $153 + license and reg + my security deposits. I'm happy with it! How do you guys think I did? First time Lexus leaser, so hopefully I didn't mess up too bad.

Stoked to be joining the clublexus IS350 gang
Anyone looking to lease an IS350 needs to reference this deal. If non college grad add 40 bucks a month and at $340 its still the best deal I've seen.

I found this site & thread after leasing my IS350 F-sport last Friday. I felt I negotiated well but i'd like to hear what you all think of my deal. I wasn't trading in and the deal was as follows:

2015 IS350 F-sport:

$0 down
30k/36yr lease
$420.xx before tax / w 6% tax $445.xx per month

I literally paid $500 that day out the door and that included: plates, dealer fee (waived?), bank fee (wavied?), registration... and i feel like I'm forgetting something?

Its late here after a long day but i thought i would share. I'm really enjoying the car, as its 3 nights old, it has 421 miles on it & i bought it with 36 miles... obv can't keep that pace up ;p

Appreciate any feed back

On the surface, looks like a decent deal - to tell for sure, we would need to know the msrp, selling price, residual, and money factor.

Congrats and enjoy!!

Using 6% for sales tax, I calculate about 445 a month without the tire and wheel package - I'm not a fan of 48 month leases. You probably could have skipped that package and be paying around 475 a month for a 24 month lease. Unless you don't treat your car well, the tire/wheel package is probably not gonna help you.

The good news is you got a great car with a decent discount.

Congrats and enjoy it!!

Ok i figured so but i was tired last night without the paper work in front of me. Let me know what u think of this deal then:

2015 IS350 F-Sport with Blind Spot, Navigation, Accessory Package. Black/red interior

MSRP: $47,519
Selling price: $42,089
Residual Amount: $30,387.35
Money Factor: .00090

As i stated before: Monthly payments, $420.xx / w 6% tax $445.xx

I literally paid $500 that day out the door and that included: plates, dealer fee (waived?), bank fee (wavied?), registration... and i feel like I'm forgetting something?

My first lease & Lexus ever. Included free car washes w lease lol & obv maintness 1st yr.
Hopefully you all feel i got a good deal because i definitely haggled, they were confident a lease broker was gonna beat them when they quoted me $425 (& wouldn't budge any lower) before 6% monthly tax and wanted $15xx.00 down but got them at the price i showed u above.

Let me know what you all think, I'm happy with my deal & the first week of getting this car i am really enjoying it, i love the set up of the dashboard & everything inside the cabin.

Appreciate any feedback.

You did well - more than a decent deal - almost 10% off sticker and a great payment with very little up front to drive an almost 50k car for 3 years.

Must be your poker experience helped - haha.

Congrats again!!

Edit - bad math on my part - about 11% off - even better.

I think this is a great deal. I just emailed the gent that has been working with me at Cerritos Lexus. I hope he could make this happen.

Hello all, this is my initial offer from a dealership in Dallas. My credit has not been ran at this time. In Texas the total sale price is taxed on a lease

2015 IS350 F-Sport with Blind Spot, Navigation, Accessory Package.

36 Month/12K Mile lease
$478 payment
$800 due
$4500 refundable security deposit
Residual 73% or 34980.87
Factor: .00058

In order to get closer to $400 payment, it is likely to require approx. $2700 due at delivery, with less security deposit.

Thoughts?

Something doesn't sound right - you're doing max MSDs and it only brought the money factor to .00058?

See uclabruins above posts about his deal.

Thanks for the help! I did reference that deal to the salesman, he said that deal is not valid due to Texas charging taxes all up front and "the money factor does not exist even if MSD is taken in to consideration"

Not sure I understand what the salesman means about the money factor. Your previous post indicated a money factor of .00058 - if that is what it is after 9 MSDs, the starting money factor must be very high (.00130). That makes a significant difference in the payment. I'm not sure it's even worth leasing a vehicle if you are taxed on the entire selling price - you might as well do a conventional purchase, pay the higher payments and have some equity after 30-36 months.

Also, not sure 73% is the correct residual for a 36/12 lease. I think it's more like 64%.

Good luck - hope everything works out.

Just made a deposit on a IS350 AWD F Sport lease. Wondering if i got a good deal.

36 month lease 426.34/month with 2555.40 includes everything (taxes, plates, etc) and also 1st months payment. Worth? Or I still have room to budge. MSRP $49,963.00. NYC Area
