Default Wheel spacer with stock wheel?

Hi,

My IS has the optional 5 spoke wheels, which I kind of like and plan to stick with in the near-term. Has anyone used a small wheel spacer with the factory wheels? I pulled a tire and it looks like the hub centric ring won't clear a 10mm spacer.

Any experience you can share is much appreciated, especially a before and after. I can see in search results someone else already ran into this, but when I try to open the thread I get an error.

Thanks.

IMHO factory 3iS wheels do not look good with spacers.. both FSport and Non FSport. Looks awkward.

I am putting 15mm spacers with my stock IS350 rims for now until I get my Vossens (hopefully within 2 months). I am putting the spacers on this weekend and can post some pics if you want.

I think it looks better if the wheels were more flush with the fenders. I had 15mm spacers put on before getting new wheels. If I had to do it again, I would get 20mm. This is on a lowered car. On a stock height car, I don't think spacera would look good.

The Shaddix i believe had 25 mm spacers all around on stock f-sport wheels and i must say it looked very clean with the drop he had. Look up his build thread and see for yourself folks.

FSPORTJC yeah if you can get a before and after parallel from the fender that would be great! Did any of you have vibration issues after adding the spacer?

25mm looks great with stock wheels, but causes some rubbing. I recommend going 20 all around. It does look a bit awkward if the car is not lowered properly. It also helps if the front sits slightly lower than the back, creates a meaner stance...No vibration issues at all, even at high speeds. I got ichiba spacers which include hubcentric rings that fit 100% flush to the stock hub and wheel, you can get them on ebay from any reputable seller.
