Under the dash below the steering wheel is a button to switch between two 'programed' TPMS's - summer / winter. But they must be programmed to the vehicle first through the ECM.

Just make sure it's a good shop, I had new wheels and tires put on and kept the stock sensors and the shop inadvertently damaged one of the sensors. Took care of it, but still, it happens, the sensors are very sensitive and damage easily apparently.

The size is pretty standard so the fitment shouldn't be an issue. Shop just has to program them into your ecu to make them work.

But will the onboard computer be able to read the sensors? They all don't speak the same language, do they?

Each sensor has a serial number, that serial number needs to be programmed to the ecu so they can communicate. The only issue might be that some tire shops may only have software up to 2013 model year lexus but that's the only thing they have to do.
